Getting rid of an invalid category or changing how the categories are structured.

Merging of Categories is a method of chaging how the categories are structured. this allows the user to take two catgories and merge them together into one.

CAUTION: this needs to be done with care and a back up in necessary as once the merge has completed it cannot be reversed. A backup will allow you to restore back to the state before the merge.
