LiquorConnect - Setup and Configuration

Topic overview

The LiquorConnect feature is an option designed to export and import purchase order information to and from Connect Logistics Services Inc.'s LiquorConnect service. You need to create this company supplier in addition to the tasks described in this topic.

The following tasks are required to set up and configure the LiquorConnect export and update functions.

Set up the Export function 1. Download the liquorconnect.zip file from the FTP site's pub/special folder. Right-click on the file and select 'Extract All' from the drop-down menu. Follow the on-screen instructions, clicking [Next] until the process is complete. Note where you extracted the files to, as you need to specify a data directory that is used for the update in the same folder. I would recommend saving the extracted file in this path C:\liquorconnect folder

2. Access XML Central via the Navigator menu path: Setup Tools> Utilities> XML Central. The XML Central dialog box appears.

3. Click [Export To XML] to open the XML Export window.

4. Click [New] on the Toolbar.

5. When prompted for the name for these export settings, enter 'LiquorConnect PO Export' without the quote marks.

6. On the Export Settings tab, click the Export Type down arrow and select 'Purchases' from the drop-down list.

7. In the Export Options area, check both the wwExportLines and wwExportInventory check boxes.
