The Windward Wiki project has begun. This is the New Knowledgebase and in here will will store all kinds of information for support, documentation, training, etc. The beauty of this system is the ease with which we can upload new Camtasia articles and make them easy to find and view.

IMPORTANT: For this to work well, we must all follow a few rules.

• Your screen size should be 800 by 600 when recording the screen.
• There should be enough text on the screen to make it easy to search
• You will need to speak slowly and clearly, but not crazy slow
• The Camtasia files should be recorded in AVI format first
• Sorenson Squeeze will need to be used to convert the AVI file into an FLV format. This is only needed for the larger files where we can get a real benefit of squeezing the file. With short support videos, have Camtasia create the .flv file directly as per the instructions below
• However, it is possible to create an FLV document from the Camtasia Producer. Make sure that you sent the system to a contant bit rate, 300 bits, make the frame rate automatic and choose the FLV file format instead of the SWF format. Only the file with the extension .flv needs to be used and the other files are for a standalone viewer only.
