Consignments can be used to keep track of inventory that you don't own, but at the time you sell it, you must pay for it. You'll be able to generate several reports, including a list of inventory that is on consignment but not sold and a list of inventory sold on consignment, but not yet paid for.

Consignment inventory must be enabled for consignment inventory related commands to appear on the menu.

Windward Software also has an option to set Drop Days discounts for consignment items. Drop Days or Days to Discount are Windward Software terms that represents how many days the item will be in stock before a price change occurs. When this option has been set up and a consignment item has been in stock for the number of Drop Days it will automatically be sold at the predetermined price schedule for that number of Drop Days. Multiple Drop Days discounts can also be set up.
