After setting budgeted purcahsing goals, how does the software use this information to assist in purchasing requirements.

Upon setting the budgeted amounts for puchasing in specific categories, an Open to Buy report can be generated and will consider the budgeted amounts set, as wel as purchases and current stock to specificy the remaining open to buy value.
