Quantities on Work Order are zero after conversion

Check that the inventory record for which this occurs has a valid subcategory defined. If the subcategory is invalid (the subcategory may not exist) or is empty, the system does not know if this is a regular, labour, rental, or other type of part.

  1. Assign a valid subcategory.
  2. Open any work orders that currently have this item. Delete the line from the work order, then re-add it. This will correctly update the quantities on the inventory record.
