====== Problem attempting to connect to the main dataset ======


**Problem:**

A problem was encountered while attempting to authenticate to the main dataset. Failed to synchronize changes.

**Solution:**

  - Note the standalone station ID number.
  - Run mad.exe to obtain the IP hash for the Standalone computer.  Keep a note of the value.
  - Start the Pervasive Control Centre on the Standalone computer.
  - Open the STANDALONE.BTR table.  This may require an ODBC connection to the local Standalone dataset.
  - Remove the data under the Machine column for the standalone corresponding to the Standalone station.
  - Add the hash information from #2 to the Machine column for the standalone corresponding to the Standalone station.
  - Close the Pervasive Control Centre and run the Standalone update.
