Error:

For Standalone LAN

When attempting to update the Standalone dataset the following error is displayed:
The main dataset does not recognize this local dataset. You will not be able to synchronize the two.

Solution:

1. Note the standalone station ID number.
2. Run mad.exe to obtain the IP hash for the Standalone computer. Keep a note of the value.
3. Start the Pervasive Control Centre on the server.
4. Open the STANDALONE.BTR table. This may require an ODBC connection to the dataset.
5. Remove the data under the Machine column for the standalone corresponding to the Standalone station.
6. Add the hash information from #2 to the Machine column for the standalone corresponding to the Standalone station.
7. Close the Pervasive Control Centre and run the Standalone update.
